Immersed in a lush landscape, among palm trees, gardens, and earthen architectures, Hotel Nomadaz is conceived as a system of volumes gathered around water and vegetation. The project by And Studio Architects interprets the character of Marrakech through a contemporary language that can engage with tradition without reproducing it literally.

The architecture consists of compact bodies, punctuated by towers, loggias, and shaded passages. The ochre-colored surfaces reflect the tones of the soil and the city, while frames, perforations, and geometric patterns introduce a subtle texture on the facades. The design of decorative elements, openings, and parapets recalls the Moroccan repertoire, transforming it into an abstract and measured system. The built masses alternate with deep voids, balconies, and terraces, generating a dynamic composition that is never monumental.

The heart of the hotel consists of open spaces. Pools, courtyards, and walking paths define a sequence of places designed for stopping, meeting, and relaxation. Water becomes an organizing element: it reflects light, contributes to environmental well-being, and creates a visual continuity between the buildings. Surrounding this, seating, pergolas, and shaded areas promote a slow way of living, in constant relation to the garden.

The rooms and common areas open onto deep loggias and sheltered terraces. The overhangs, sunshades, and metal screens modulate sunlight and ensure privacy, while the large openings connect the interior and exterior. Each volume maintains its own identity but contributes to a unified composition, built through consistent proportions, materials, and colors.

The landscape is not a backdrop, but an essential component of the project. Palm trees, Mediterranean essences, and flowering vegetation envelop the architectures, filter the views, and accompany the paths. The presence of greenery softens the geometry of the volumes, creates shaded areas, and gives the intervention an intimate and welcoming character.

Hotel Nomadaz thus establishes a balance between local memory and contemporary comfort. A place where luxury does not coincide with ostentation, but with the quality of space, shade, water, and time. An architecture capable of welcoming, protecting, and offering a new experience of the Marrakech landscape.
