Palazzo San Jacopo
Restoration and Renovation
Year
2025
Location
Lucca
The restoration of Palazzo San Jacopo represents a great opportunity for urban regeneration. The intervention, designed by Studio Litote and Andstudio, aims to bring the complex back to life through a complete redevelopment that respects its historical features while integrating cutting-edge technologies. The project is conceived to ensure a balance between preserving the existing structure and incorporating modern solutions, offering comfortable, functional homes with refined design.
A key aspect of the project was the restoration and enhancement of architectural elements typical of the city of Lucca, such as bifora windows, balustrades, wrought iron railings on balconies, arched openings, and the warm tones of the façade, characteristic of the historic center’s buildings.
The complex includes various housing types, ranging from elegant one-bedroom apartments to larger units such as four-room apartments and lofts with terraces offering panoramic views of the city.
