City of Arts 

The Project consists in the creation of a permanent academic institution dedicated to the protection and promotion of popular arts and intangible heritage. The main functions provided are: collection and archiving functions (musical instruments, works, accessories, costumes, posters, sound and video supports, etc.), consultation functions, media library and bookshop, scientific research and observatories. Other important functions are those of artistic and pedagogical animations and those focused on communications. A literary café function as well as one or more outlets (bookstore, musical instruments, CDs, books and all cultural products of Morocco, etc. Equally fundamental are the functions of accommodation, reception and catering within an Artistic Residence.
