Above the Comptoir des Mines art gallery, in the vibrant heart of Marrakech, a terrace takes shape that is not just an outdoor space, but a true statement of style. A place suspended between the sky and the city, designed as a setting for meeting, contemplation, and the art of living well. The interior design project was conceived as a tribute to the Italian dolce vita, evoking the luminous and carefree elegance that marked the glamour of the 1960s, reinterpreted today with a contemporary twist.

The terrace is a welcoming and spectacular space, where aesthetics and functionality interact seamlessly. Light colors, bright surfaces, and balanced compositions create a refined atmosphere, perfect for informal and convivial moments, but also for cultural events and more intimate evenings. Here, design is never ostentatious, but rather a narrative: a language that speaks of beauty, proportion, and the pleasure of being together.

The project also serves as a bridge between two extraordinary cultures, Italian and Moroccan. Italian style emerges in the attention to composition, the taste for decorative detail, and the lightness of the whole; Moroccan expertise is evident in the quality of the craftsmanship, the precision of the workmanship, and the poetry hidden in the details. The art of decoration thus becomes a universal language, capable of uniting different sensibilities in an authentic dialogue.

The visual and conceptual heart of the project is the creation of an original decorative motif, born from the fusion of the geometric patterns of Moroccan zellige tiles and the pictorial style of Sicilian ceramics. This combination gives rise to a unique design, conceived to evoke authenticity and belonging. The motif becomes the leitmotif of the entire project, declined and enriched by the integration of striped patterns, giving life to a collection of customised fabrics that adorn furnishings and spaces.

Decorated ceramics make up table tops and counters, while coordinated sets of tables, sofas, chairs, and cushions interact with plates, tablecloths, and decorative objects. Each element is conceived as a unique piece, part of a coherent and recognizable narrative. A selection of smaller objects—plates, candle holders, placemats, and accessories—will be offered for sale under the Comptoir des Mines brand, allowing visitors to take home a fragment of this project, where design, culture, and beauty come together under the Marrakech sky.
